Common Refining Agent

The Refining Agent is white powder or granular. It is prepared by drying a variety of inorganic salts and mixing in a certain proportion.
Function: The refining agent is mainly used to remove the hydrogen and floating oxidation slag inside the aluminum liquid, so that the aluminum liquid is more pure, and has the role of slag cleaning agent.
Features: Some components of the refining agent are easy to decompose at high temperatures, the generated gas is easy to react with hydrogen, and the adsorption force is strong with slag inclusion, and quickly escape from the melt. Other components have the function of slag cleaning agent.
Scope of use: Suitable for commonly used aluminum alloy (alloy with high magnesium content and aluminum magnesium alloy can not be used), and pure aluminum smelting, degassing refining and slag removal.
Usage: The refining agent is spread on the liquid surface, quickly pressed into the aluminum liquid, fully stirred and left to stand, scraping slag; If the jet is used, the effect of spraying the refining agent into the aluminum liquid with inert gas is better.
Dosage: The general dosage is about 0.3% of the weight of liquid aluminum, which should be determined by the purity of liquid aluminum.
Storage: Dry storage, if accidentally damp can be dried and continue to use.
